CONTRASIDA - Mission


Defends the human and civil rights of Female Commercial Sexworkers active on Curaçao. Supported by the GGD (the Curaçao Public Health Department) ContraSida implements a comprehensive HIV/STI prevention program directed at the sex workers working outside of the "State regulated" brothel. It also fights unwanted pregnancies among that specific group. A Syndromic Management Model is used to treat sexworkers and or their customers suspected of a Sexually Transmitted Infection in the field.
